CPC Forum on Parent-Teacher Partnership
Monday, November 19 @ 7:00 p.m.
Lowell High TV Studio
While the CPC has often focused in the past on promoting
communication, understanding, and common goals between parents
and administrators, we also realize that the relationship
between parents and teachers is equally important to the successful
education of children. The November CPC meeting will provide
an opportunity for parents to learn more about the work, needs,
and goals of teachers in the Lowell Public Schools. The event
will focus specifically on parent-teacher communication, as
a panel of teachers and parents will discuss a set of "case
studies" involving parent-teacher communication in challenging
circumstances. The goal of the panel will be to more clearly
define what teachers should reasonably expect of parents in
such circumstances, and what parents should reasonably expect
of teachers.
